Pau d’ Arco Infusion
Pau d’Arco (Tabebuia Impetiginosa), also known as Lapacho, is a huge canopy tree native to the Amazon rainforest. The bark of the tree is a source of antioxidants and prepared using only certified inner bark from the ‘cambium’ layer of the tree. This process is entirely sustainable, and the bark can be ‘harvested’ without causing permanent damage to the tree. Pau d’Arco is used to support the gastro-intestinal tract where IBS type symptoms are present

How to Take:
Infuse teaspoon of bark or one bag in boiling water and allow to stand for 5-10 mins.
Children aged 12+ and adults: 1 cup of tea 1 to 3 times a day
Pau d’Arco should not be taken simultaneously with strong acid products like Vitamin C, as this may affect the potency of the herb.
Excessive doses may cause gastro-intestinal upset.
Not to be taken by people with bleeding disorders.
